Took up consultancy work to streamline all operations of AMI Industries (I) Pvt. Ltd., Cresent Metro Polis, Dr.AS Rao Nagar, Secunderabad-62. from February 2011 on part-time basis. Need to go there 3 days a week. Got introduced to almost all staff members there. They have 60 staff members in Hyderabad and 12 in Baroda and 7 in Jaipur. They are planning to expand and go public very soon. My assignment is mainly to streamline Admin, Finance, Stores and Dispatch. Also help and advise in any other matter from time to time.
Made HR and Purchase Manual. Organized Project Management training. Introduced group meetings and regular staff meetings. Extended help in the inauguration of Delhi office.
I had frequent interaction with almost staff and made it a point to inform them on how to enjoy work.
During November 2011, they wanted my services on regular basis. As I had other priorities I could not take up full-time offer.
Now I need to concentrate on my son's wedding and farming. I am sure I will be very busy next 2-3 months. In between I get time, I will work on my blog and excel.
During mid-September 2012, AMI wanted my services again for 3 days a week. Accepted this offer as my farming activity will not suffer due to this assignment. Currently, helping out the Quality Division in implementation of ISO and CMMI. In addition to this, conducted advance excel training to 3 batches of AMI staff, covering conditional formatting, pivot and charts, vlookup, etc..
